Croydon Historical Society Celebrates Support

Michael Sukkar today visited the headquarters of the Croydon Historical Society to announce $10,000 in funding for an important local heritage project.

Michael was welcomed to the Croydon Historical Museum in Civic Place by members of the Society, including President Les Hutchinson.

Mr Hutchinson expressed his gratitude and thanks for the Coalition Government’s support for the Society’s publishing project, which will document the interior and exterior of buildings throughout Croydon.

The visit also provided the Society with an opportunity to brief Michael on the progress of the project, due for completion before the end of the year.

Michael congratulated the members on their hard work, saying he looked forward to supporting the launch of the publication.
