Deakin constituents who are celebrating a special birthday or wedding anniversary can receive personal congratulations from Michael, Prime Minister, Governor-General and/ or The Queen.
This table summarises which birthdays and anniversaries messages can be sent for and by whom:
|Prime Minister||90th, 100th and every year thereafter||50th and every year thereafter|
|Governer General||100th and every year thereafter||50th and every year thereafter|
|The Queen||100th and every fifth year thereafter||60th and every fifth year thereafter|
Messages can be requested by a family member or a friend using the electronic form below or by calling Michael Sukkar’s electorate office on (03) 9874 1711.
Messages can be requested up to two months before the birthday or anniversary and belated messages can be requested up to one month after the birthday or anniversary has passed.
Where appropriate, requests will be forwarded to the Prime Minister, the Governor-General and/or The Queen so you only have to make one application.
Requests must be accompanied by supporting documentation, i.e. a birth certificate or marriage certificate, or a statutory declaration. If supporting documentation cannot be provided please call Michaels office to discuss.
Messages can be delivered directly to the recipient or to another address for surprises.
