Redeveloping Tarralla Kindergarten

  • $200,000 in funding for the redevelopment of the facilities at Tarralla Kindergarten in Ringwood East.
  • The funding will provide for additional space at the kindergarten to improve the useability for children and staff.

Federal Member for Deakin, Michael Sukkar, has announced today that a re-elected Coalition Government will provide $200,000 towards the redevelopment of the facilities at Tarralla Kindergarten.

Mr Sukkar thanked the committee at the Kindergarten for its tireless advocacy for these much-needed facilities. The funding will contribute to additional space at the kindergarten, including the redevelopment of the front entrance as well as provide for new storage facilities. The funding will also provide for a redeveloped staff office for educators as well as allow volunteer parents and community members to come together for committee meetings.

“Ensuring a safe and engaging space for children to learn and play is critical for developing minds and I am proud to have secured this funding commitment in support of the kindergarten”.

The Committee of Management at the kindergarten said this funding will improve the usability and safety of the kindergarten and allow us to build new storage facilities which will be very welcome by the children and parents alike.

“The new storage facilities will provide even more space for our staff and children to play and learn and we thank Michael Sukkar for his support on these vital works”, said the members of the committee.
