New furniture at Kevin Pratt Pavilion in Ringwood

Michael Sukkar, Federal Member for Deakin, visited Kevin Pratt Pavilion in Ringwood today to have a look at the newly-purchased furniture.

While at the pavilion, Mr Sukkar dropped in to a drawing class, run by U3A, where the furniture was being well utilised.

“It’s great to see so many different community organisations making good use of the chairs,” he said.

“They’re extremely practical items, but an essential part of the day-to-day running of the pavilion.” “The pavilion and the furniture are being used by U3A Ringwood as well as the Norwood Cricket and Football Clubs.”

The Coalition Government provided $20,000 through its Stronger Communities Programme to assist with the purchase of the furniture.
